1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how the Skeptic Wise channel ("we", "us") handles information accessed through the platform APIs we use to operate our own channels: YouTube API Services, TikTok's Content Posting API and the Instagram Platform API. It applies to the internal tooling we operate to manage our own accounts and to publish our own content. These tools are used solely by the account owner and are not distributed to third parties, and they are not used to serve or manage any other person's account.

2. Information we access through platform APIs

When authorised by the account owner, our tools may access the following.

2.1 YouTube API Services

• Channel and video statistics (views, likes, subscriber counts);
• Video metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails);
• Comments and replies on our own videos;
• The ability to upload our own videos and to post replies to comments on our own videos.

2.2 TikTok

Through TikTok's Content Posting API, and only after the account owner authorises our application on their own TikTok account, our tools may access:

• basic profile information for the authorised TikTok account (display name, username, avatar);
• the ability to upload and publish our own videos to our own TikTok account;
• the privacy, comment, duet and stitch settings chosen for each post.

2.3 Instagram

Through Instagram's API, acting on our own Instagram professional account, our tools may access:

• the account's username, account type, and follower and media counts;
• the ability to publish our own images, Reels and Stories;
• comments on our own media, so that we can read and reply to them.

3. How we use this information

• To analyse the performance of our own content and decide what to publish;
• To prepare and upload our own videos and images to our own accounts;
• To read and, where appropriate, respond to comments on our own content.

We do not sell, rent, or share this information with advertisers or any third party. We do not use it for advertising profiling or for any purpose other than managing our own channels.

4. Storage and retention

Authorisation tokens and any cached API data are stored locally on the account owner's own computer. They are not stored on publicly accessible servers and are not shared with third parties. We retain this data only for as long as it is needed to operate our own channels, and we delete it on request as described in section 6. Cached YouTube API data is refreshed or deleted in accordance with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.

5. Platform terms and third-party policies

5.1 Google and YouTube

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This application uses YouTube API Services. By using this application you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

5.2 TikTok

This application uses TikTok's Content Posting API. By using it you agree to be bound by TikTok's Terms of Service. TikTok's handling of data is described in TikTok's Privacy Policy.

5.3 Meta and Instagram

This application uses the Instagram Platform API and is subject to the Meta Platform Terms and the Instagram Terms of Use. Meta's handling of data is described in the Meta Privacy Policy.

6. Revoking access and deleting data

You may revoke this application's access at any time:

• Google / YouTube: at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access invalidates the stored token immediately.
• TikTok: from your TikTok account settings, under Manage app permissions.
• Instagram / Meta: in Instagram, go to More → Settings → Website permissions → Apps and Websites, then remove this application. Meta account holders can also do this from Accounts Centre, under Your activity and permissions.

To request deletion of any data we have stored, contact us at the address below. We will delete the stored authorisation tokens and any cached data within 30 days.
